These are areas I will continue to strive for excellence on.

Open Government

I will continue to make myself available to any individual who has questions, concerns, or wants to talk. I will get you an answer or will find someone who can. The public has to be informed to keep government accountable.
I will continue to put out my newsletters. This lets you know what I am working on, thoughts on matters, and relevant communications.
I will work to make sure that government finances remain open and correct. We have wonderful staff who also strive for this outcome.
Adopt policies that promote continued open government.

I will work with all councilors regardless of personal opinions. We represent everyone.
I will listen to everyone's opinions and give the respect they deserve either as a councilor, staff, or member of the public.
I will hold myself, council and staff accountable.
I will continue to education myself through the Association of Washington Cities and other organizations to be a better elected official.
I will continue to keep this non-partisan position non-partisan.
I will not shy away from making tough choices.
